Ian D Hamilton BSc (Hons) Agriculture from Wye College, London University in 1969. His first appointment was with Farm Partners, the Farm Management Company with Sir Joseph Nickerson Group of Companies at Rothwell, Lincolnshire. This was followed by a period in private consultancy and then as Senior Lecturer in Farm Management Studies at Writtle Agricultural College, Chelmsford. Ian joined John German, Chartered Surveyors, in 1976 and for ten years from 1985 was Head of their Farm Business Management Department. Ian is a member of the Institute of Agriculture Management and member of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants and subscribes to their Code of Professional Conduct.
