The aim of the new schemes is to assist farmers adapt to the changing market place and enable the start up of new agricultural and non-agricultural enterprises, improve the marketing of existing products and learn new skills.
Existing agri-environmental and woodland grant schemes continue under the Programme with significantly increased budgets in order to involve more people and more land. The following schemes continue in the normal way:-
